Latin Mass Sunday, Dec. 17

This Sunday (Dec 17) is the 3rd Sunday of December, but as we indicated in our last email, we were bumped from the 4th Sunday for this month because this month the 4th Sunday is Christmas Eve, and the parish will have other Masses scheduled.  However, since the 3rd Sunday happens to be the joyful Sunday of Advent, (Gaudete Sunday), we will be singing the beautiful and joyful Missa de Angeles.

Come and join us.  Worship the Lord joyfully this Sunday in the traditional Latin Mass of the centuries. Let's offer God our finest.

Ascension

In this diocese (as nearly everywhere in the USA) the Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ into heaven is celebrated on Sunday, rather than on the traditional day, which is today.  Therefore, this Sunday, (which is also the 4th Sunday of the month), at St. Catherine of Siena, will be the celebration of the Ascension of  Our Lord into heaven.
To celebrate it in a special way, and to honor Our Lord,    come to the traditional sung Latin Mass:

We will have a sung Traditional Tridentine Latin Mass with organ, Gregorian Chant, and a professional cantor.
